Yarn Notes

This shawl was knit using a bright, graphic self-striping yarn. I chose two coordinating colors that would complement, but not overpower, the self-striping yarn so that those beautiful stripes would be the center of attention.

Needles

US 7 (4.5 mm) 32-inch (80-cm) circular needles, or as required to meet gauge

A DPN or other needle in the same size for three-needle bind off

Gauge

20 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking
